Andiwork V est un album visant à endormir les gens. Avec un piano et quelques effets simples, Andy Creeggan se situe quelque part entre les projets ambiants de Brian Eno et les œuvres de Keith Jarrett. La musique est à la fois réfléchie et lâche, les structures très strictes mais permettant l'improvisation. Tous les airs passent par un processus musical qui se déroule sur des périodes de temps étirées. L'idée est de créer une texture cohérente mais insaisissable. Comme un sentiment d’aller quelque part mais trop lentement pour vraiment s’en apercevoir. Espérons qu'avec cette performance, la foule se mettra à l'aise et ne le remarquera même pas.

Andiwork V is a concept album aimed at putting people to sleep. With a piano and some simple effects, Andy Creeggan places himself somewhere between the ambiant projects of Brian Eno and the solo piano works of Keith Jarrett. The music is both thought through and loose, the structures very strict yet allowing for improvisation. All tunes go through a musical process of one sort or another that unfolds over stretched time frames. The idea is to create a consistent yet elusive texture that you sense is going somewhere eventually but too slowly to properly perceive. Hopefully with this performance, the crowd will make themselves comfortable and not even notice it.
